At ICLD, we are committed to fostering reconciliation and to increase cultural competency with a variety of organizations. In recent years, the topic of reconciliation has been prominent, yet many organizations are still wondering where the starting point is. We have developed a suite of workshop programs along with our consulting services to help your organization find its reconciliation solution. Our aim is for your organization to gain an understanding of the Indigenous Experience.

Our Indigenous Experience workshop series can be taken as individual workshops or as a series. Our Educate series explores the history and development of Crown-Indigenous relations and how organizations can develop a reconciliation strategy. Our Expand series discussed the benefits of a trauma-informed workplace and our Execute series provides in-depth exploration of how reconciliation can have a positive impact on the Indigenous employee experience and how to engage with Indigenous people and communities in a culturally safe manner.

ICLD’s consulting services, notably our Actioning Reconciliation services can provide customized solutions for your organization. We will work with your organization to implement strategies in increasing cultural competency and to bring to life, current considerations of reconciliation strategies with Indigenous people.

Our team consists of individuals with professional and lived Indigenous based experience. We employ a “two eyed” seeing approach in our workshop and consulting services to ensure that you have both professional best practices and an Indigenous perspective in all services you receive from ICLD.
