My name is Alicia, from the Tsimshian Nation on the northwest coast of BC, on my mother’s side and Ojibwe – from Ontario on my father’s. I come from a huge family on both sides, and I am the youngest to 6-siblings. Life is good!
My education background includes a good variety, graduated from Tourism Hospitality in my younger days. I enjoyed everything about the industry. Working in every role of the business, allotted me to gain knowledge within the diverse world. On top of that I was able to learn about other cultures too. One of my most memorable moments was serving the Vancouver Canucks and getting pictures with the twins.
My most recent education was Business Administration Principles in 2018, then I added to that with a certificate as a Career Development Practitioner, in 2021. I work as a job-coach with ICLD – Indigenous Community for Leadership & Development, I am new to the position, and I believe great things are going to happen for all. I enjoy spending time with family, reading, lifelong learning and my new career.
